India's recent arrest of hawala money launderer, Naresh Jain, was part of an international Operation Khyber Pass, that stretched from Italy to Dubai to India.
BusinessWeek describes this operation more fully.
Apparently this is the first instance we have proof that drug traffickers use hawala instead of couriers to transfer drug money.
